I've just tried to access my website (http://www.doxeyca.org.uk) on my new Android 2.1 tablet and I see that it thinks that javascript is absent. Is this normal or do I need to update the site ?

Re: Help - Menus not recognised in Opera/IE ok in Firefox
Thanks Ruth. By the time you looked at them I had removed the 'offending' lines and it was OK in IE/Opera again. Thanks for confirming that it's Ok in other browsers. I will be doing a little more testing to see if I can re-create the problem but I assume that 'tidy' had inserted the code to make me...

Re: Help - Menus not recognised in Opera/IE ok in Firefox
Sorry to fill up forum with unnecessary postings I've found the problem //<![CDATA[ <!-- if(ns4)_d.write("<script language=JavaScript src=mmenuns4.js><\/script>"); else _d.write("<script language=JavaScript src=mmenudom.js><\/script>"); --> //]]> I'd forgotten that I'd added &quo...

Re: Help - Menus not recognised in Opera/IE ok in Firefox
Sorry - didn't check grammar properly before sending Fails in Internet Explorer 7/8 (windows XP) and Opera 10 (ubuntu) and OK in Firefox (3.0.16 ubuntu and 3.5.5 Windows XP)) I was going to send an attachment but not allowed to. I didn't touch the file headers when I used Bluefish/Kompozer to edit f...

Help - Menus not recognised in Opera/IE ok in Firefox
I've just been doing some maintenance on my website (http://www.doxeyca.org.uk) and I've suddenly found that the menus on the index page are not working in IR7/8 and Opera 10 but are OK in Firefox 3. I cannot see what I may have done. Other pages (built with SSI) are OK. example click on "Using...

Re: Creation of a sitemap
Problem using mm_siteIndex.js I'm trying to create a siteindex for 'www.doxeyca.co.uk' and have implemented the code into the index page for the site. All I get is a window with the heading 'Doxey Site Index II' (see html below). It seems that in the code for (i=0; i<_m.length; i++) { if (_m[i][7]) ...

Re: Change of html editor loses Menu
Thanks for reply.
I think the problem is with KompoZer (editing source) - similar problems on their forum.
I re-edited the page(http://www.doxeyca.org.uk/dm_doxey_bridge.html) using Vim - now OK.
It might be worth upgrading menu system - what's the current procedure please ?

Change of html editor loses Menu
I've been using menu for 'www.doxeyca.org.uk' (free licence 195780) for 4 years with no problems and virtually no changes. I've now gone over to Linux and am using KompoZer (ex NVU) instead of Front Page. (No auto include of page headings). This seems to work OK but I've just created a new page and ...

Using <noscript> if javascript disabled
Sorry I haven't explained this very well. For my milonic menu I used menu '24' when the menu is positioned to a 1-pixel image. I then placed 4 sub-menus in a (resizable) table (Table 1) stretching across the screen. This works fine. When js is disabled I have placed another table (Table 2) above thi...

Using <noscript> if javascript disabled
See http://www.doxeyca.org.uk/dm_history.htm
The index page has a table containing direct links - subsidiary pages use Milonic menu.
If js disabled - this table is repeated on subsidiary pages but other prompts remain.

Using <noscript> if javascript disabled
I've just created my first menu and I'm impressed with the product. I'm now setting up an alternative menu for 'js disabled' . Simple question (I 'm sure I should know the answer) - I've got the alternative menu defined in <_noscript> <_/noscript> code. How do I stop the block with the 'js enable co...
