Thanks.. I'll give this a try once I finish up other open items. I have put this Milonic menus on the back burner for now because it's hard for me to have time for everything. I'll let you know how it goes when I get back to it...

What's the javascript commands for the sleep event? I'm going to put it into the pop_up() function and see how much of a help will it be.

Nope...

Nope that doesn't work. It's a good try. Again, I feel not sure if it is something I would want to do because it could prevent non-Milonic scripts from running into an error too. Right now, the browser had crashed after I repeatly tested the script. :roll: :roll:

With the JavaScript Console...

Tools --> Web Development --> JavaScript Console

Well, I can't read enough to copy it and give an example here because it is generating too many warning message at once. It's like trying to read 500 pages textbook in 5 seconds.

JavaScript error using windows.onerror in Mozilla and Firefo

When I placed the window.onerror on all web pages for the website before purchasing Milonic. I noticed an increases in javascript error with Mozilla and Firefox.

Andy on the tech support ticket said Milonic scriptswasn't loaded fast enough and he'll have to think of something. I know Andy will ...

The javascript warning in Firefox and Mozilla are a feature that was added about a year or 2 ago. The reason you see too many warning is because it is what it is shown when the Milonic's javascript is continously running.

I have that same problem because it make it harder for me to debug the ...

I don't seem to be able to download the older version when logging in. How can I do that? It's not that I want the older version, just that I need a more stable one for demostration this friday in front of my boss and the attorney. Just the one on Dec 22nd when my company bought the license ...

I can reproduce the problem without the use of menu delay and I now see what's the problem. I have drop-down menu that have arrows at the right that bring up the submenu. I have no problem if that submenu pop-up immediately but if it doesn't pop-up while hte mouse is mouse-overed the drop-down menu ...

Well, hte website is still under development behind the firewall. Won't be coming out for a little while. I just noticed it when I upgraded it and when I start using the delay timer for the popup() function. Hope that help.

Occasional java script error with the Milonic menus...

Hi Again!!

I seem to be getting the occasional error with the Milonic menus but not that many. More like 1 in 8 times of usage. The error message I get are ...

The website is not out on the Internet yet because it's still in the development stage... But I can email you the zipped testcase I made, don't know what's your email address. We bought the license 2 or 3 weeks ago. ;-)

Ah! So, that's what it is... I use version 5.65. So, downloaded and tested it with version 5.67 and so far, it doesn't work. Again, thanks for the info on the global properties. Took care of it.

Ah!!! Thanks... Well, I have 2 seperate horizontal Menus at the top and just below it is bunch of html form document that is to be filled out. I can see that moving the mouse around that swing by the menu caused the pop-up to appear even when it is not intended to be used. So, that's why I need the ...

menu open delay timer not working with mouseover.....

I'm trying to get the delay timer to work for the menu open when the mouse is mouseover it but it doesn't work. I can get the menu close delay timer to work when the mouse is on mouseout. Why is that? I'm looking at "_menuOpenDelay" for the menu open delay timer...

Can the submenu arrow be highlighted when mouseovered???

In the "menu_data.js" is a variable, "subimage" that show the arrow icon. I noticed there is no feature for hte mouseover image, so is there one??

Yuck!!! No way, not hte mouse position or fixed position. It had to be relative from the table's td tag. So, found the one for images, so will try to tweak it to work with the table's td tag instead of the image's tag.
