Milonic JavaScript Menu

I have a few questions.

1. Do the search engines see the text in the menu as it would in a static link?
2. Can we add alt or mouseover effects to the menu bar?

I uploaded the milonic menu about a year ago. I have been looking at our site with different browsers recently and find that it does not funtion properly in all. One of them extends the width to the edges of the page. What do I need to to to fix this problem? I habe done nothing since it was loaded ...

I currently am running awmData-menu. It does not load with firefox. Is this an easy fix or should I change menus?
