Is it at all possible to specify for the first top most row of menus to have a bgcolour of transparent and all tree's that descend from there to have a different bgcolour like red for e.g.?

Forgot to set offbgcolor="transparent";

I've tried using...
menubgimage="abc.gif";
but that doesn't work?

If I use...
image="abc.gif";
that works by prefixing the image before the text.

Why can't I get it as a background?

I want to know if there is any way I can create the menu with an image being the background and have the ability to have the text of the menu sit over it?

A - Have the ability to scroll left and right if the content is too much for the screen
OR
B - If the content is too much for the screen have a button to replace the current menu line with more items with the ability to go back to the ...
