I took the div tag out entirely... and this didn't fix anything. The only other tag affecting it would be the <body> tag. I commented out the <body> tag properties and it still was broken.

I am putting all .js files in the root level folder: /dhtml-nav/

I have tried dropping the images in that folder and also at root level... both tries did not show the images.

Is there somewhere I configure the path to the images?

Can I purchase 2 licenses of milonic, run them from 2 domains, yet pull from one menu_data file? Technically speaking, can milonic menu do this without the "milonic" link poping up at the top of the page.

I took the page source of the webpage of the broken menu, and created a test file... loaded to the server ....and it worked !!! So there is a problem of when the body code (of the included JS) is NOT parsed by the browser after the header code...in that sequence. If it does not parse in that ...

What is the best way to seperate my js code from the rest of my code? I have tried to do a PHP include without success. Interestingly the code still shows up in the browser source, but not in the browser display.

If I embed the JS in the file all is fine.
