[resolved] What happened when I moved my files.

Hi All, I am not sure what happened, but when I moved my index.php file from the test site to the real site, I now get a Milonic page, instead of my home page. http://www.freetochoosemedia.org/ is the real site (does note work) ... http://www.itcmmailcenter.com/ is the test site (works)... Thanks in...

[resolved] ICarumba! Why aren't my images working now...???

Hi All, I had a test page working then I started putting my pages together and now I cannot get my images working for my menus. http://www.itcmmailcenter.com/includes/header3.php is the broken version and http://www.itcmmailcenter.com/testheader.php is the working version, but I need to change the h...

Sorry for being vague, it is not on purpose, its because I am not familar enough with the coding. What I meant is I see some menus set to 'absolute' and others to 'relative.' I set mine to neither one, but by your explanation, I set to absolute by default with my top and left commands. I was just ch...

Never mind, I resolved this.

I removed the div and used top and left and it works.

Questions, though...

Should this be absolute or like I have it?

Sub menu postioning issue

Hi all, I am setting up a new site and working on the look. The sub menus on the site working great, except they are about 200 pixels below the menu that creates them. I have the menu in a div, to ensure it is positioned on the page in the correct place. This may be the issue, but I am not sure if I...

Thank you, as always, you are the answer person!

It is very close to what I want, and I will play with it and finalize the buttons (I will make some that look the way I want them).

Consider this thread [resolved]!

Excellent!! Of course! Thanks Ruth, that helps a lot. I will get this down sooner (hopefully) or later. I did what you suggested and it worked great. This is in the early testing stages, so I may change buttons, text, etc, but that gets me close. I will try and play with the text positioning to cent...

Any ideas?

Am I close?

Hi Andy, I sent you the support info with a link to my files (zipped). The page you need to look at is http://www.itcmmailcenter.com/index2.php . The issue is that the mm_phpmenu file has all the info for both the data and the javascript. From what I understand is that the Java and global definitons...

Thanks vikenk, The challenge with my page, is that it is not built with HTML, it is built with PHP (Supplied by Milonic), so it is a little challenging to 'move' items around. Like the suggestion of only putting the 'main menu data' in the table. They way they have it, it puts 'everything' in one pl...

Hi Ruth, I am getting close. If you go here http://www.itcmmailcenter.com/index.php you will see it looks like what I want. The issue is, the 'Production' button 'was' set to scroll and gave you a bunch of other sub menus that had sub menus. But now, it acts like a url instead of a sub menu. What di...

Hi Ruth, Thanks for the , ongoing, training on 'Milonic Speak.' As far as the offset/test buttons, if you go to that link, you will see the it shows the button, then to the right of that button, the text that 'should' be over that button, but is besides it. And then it repeats for all the buttons. T...

Hi Ruth, I love forums!!! One of the really good php coders posted a solution to your suggestion, and I changed my code like you suggested. http://www.itcmmailcenter.com/index.php In the Menu Properties, the itemwidth and menuwidth are set (with no " or px). But I am getting and button, then th...

Hi Ruth, Thanks for the reply. The challenge I have is the PHP MySQL code from Milonic has a table called styles, which it draws the info for (oncolor, align, etc.). The info you suggest adding is built on the fly with php and they do not get any data from the 'styles' table, it is all hard-coded in...

Confused on Names of items

Hi All, I am trying to setup some new menus (php ,mysql) and I still do not understand the difference between... menuwidth itemwidth imagewidth and all the 'other' widths. Wouldn't all 3 be the same if using an image? Wouldn't item and image be the same at least? I am getting text that wraps to the ...

Hi Ruth,

Basically, It is saying "is it a color, by looking for the word color in the string, then selects the first character in the string"

So, yes, it appends to the front the '#' character.

I will keep you posted on my progress with this.

Thanks,

Don
