Tooltip

You have to have a free Google Map API Key that matches your URL. For instance if you want to run on localhost. You would enter http://localhost and Google will generate a key. If you want to run on 127.0.0.1 then it would be http://127.0.0.1. You don't need the virtual directory it is running in ...

Tooltip

I put up a proof-of-concept/development site at:

http://208.206.232.31/overlandpark/index.aspx

The map, the toggle switches, and the three links above the toggle switches reside in an IFrame. Move one of the camera icons close to the top of the map using the controls in the upper left hand corner ...

Tooltip

Turns out I was using an older version of the tooltip. I downloaded the latest version and it works when the tooltip point is close to the left or right edge but not when the tooltip is close to the top.

I have my tooltip appearing at the top right of some icons on the page. If the icon is close to ...

Tooltip

I'm just wondering if the upcoming new tooltip will be able to position itself correctly and be fully visible even if the menu, html, image, or whatever it is attached to is close to the edge of the window.

I am trying to use the tooltip in an IFrame and it is not capable of telling when the item ...

No worries about "butting" in. All comments are welcomed.

I fixed it where you can click to close the menu - like the way you close the Windows right click menu.

I can't show you anything now as the web page only sits on my laptop. It needs to get further along before I can put it up on the ...

The menu behaves as it should anywhere else on the page except when called by right clicking on the Google Map.

I haven't changed any of the Milonic code as of yet because I am just trying to see what happens and I placed the Milonic scripts in the same order as in the demo.

Nothing is different ...

Thanks for the suggestion but closeonclick still requires the user to either rollover the menu or click on it to get it to close. I want the menu to behave as it does normally and close automatically even if the user does not rollover it.

Context Menu and Google Maps

I'm using the latest release version of the menu and I don't have anything for anyone to look at since I am developing on my laptop right now but I think this should be something tthat can be answered without having to see it.

I have figured out a way to get the right click menu to show up when ...

Tooltip, Images, IFrames, IE and Firefox

No. I have not had the chance to test this particular problem with the newest menu and toolitp.

Honestly, I went with a different tooltip. It opens quicker and resolved my issues with FF. It will adjust itself without having to rollover it several more times.

I didn't get a helpful response to my ...

Tooltip, Images, IFrames, IE and Firefox

I am using an IFrame with a street map in it. I place icons on it using a Milonic floating menu (the menu is on the parent page.) For instance, I click 'Show Cameras' and all the camera icons, associated with the streets shown, appear. Now each camera icon is a Milonic menu with an image, absolute ...

mm_changeItemProperty()

The error occurs on ' if (_mi [1].replace(/\&nbsp\;/ig,' ') == itemName && _m[_mi [0]][1] == menuName)' is all I know. I don't know which _mi it is.

The for loop somehow exceeds the condition of i<_mi.length

I would like to point out that this function is from another thread concerning dynamically ...

mm_changeItemProperty

I have already sent in a support request for this two days ago but I'm not getting an answer in a timely manner, so, I am posting this on the forum.

I have a menu with 6 menu items. I want the text and bgcolor for the individual menu items to toggle back and forth when the menu item is clicked.

I ...

mm_passItemRef.js

Where did you get mm_passItemRef.js? I can't find it on the Milonic website.

Thanks,

Eric
