Re: New version of the menu ignores my CSS Styling. [Update]
Hello, Well, I did a bunch of troubleshooting and came to the conclusion that the menu does NOT ignore my CSS styling but it does treat tables differently than before. I'm not sure what the difference is, but I know that other CSS values work well (text aligning, underlining, etc) but any mention of...

New version of the menu ignores my CSS Styling. [Update]
Hello Everyone, I originally posted this in my previous thread but decided that it was better off in its own thread. I downloaded the latest version of the menu to fix the problem with the drop down menu in IE 11, however the new version of the menu totally changed the styling of the menu in the web...

Re: Submenus no longer working in IE
I'll happily fix the display issues for you though. OK Andy, here's your chance. LOL! It's been years since I edited the menu or made any real structural changes to the website. I had to go back an figure out how I have done everything. I styled much of the menu appearance using CSS in the website'...

Re: Submenus no longer working in IE
I'm afraid not. The problem is that IE11 pretends to be Firefox and it's not an easy fix. Obviously, IE is not doing a good enough job at pretending to be Firefox. My website works in FF! LOL. I'm concluding that the newest version of the menu has differences as to how to it inherits or interprets ...

Submenus no longer working in IE
Hello Everyone, It's been a long time since I have posted here. I have had reports that the menu is no longer displaying sub menus on a website that I run. When I check the site (www.sayatnova.com), I find that the sub menus no longer appear in IE but everything works in Firefox. I haven't changed m...

Re: Latest version of menu ignores CSS styles
Hello Andy, Sorry, I have not been able to complete the upgrade. I have been too busy in other areas of my life to concentrate on that at this time. However, I know that the newer version of the menu "plays nice" with Lightbox v 2.04 (the popular photo viewer). The truth is that I'm not su...

Re: Latest version of menu ignores CSS styles
Hi Andy, Thanks for the quick response! I quickly copied and pasted your code and it works just fine! It's going to take me some time to figure out what you changed in my style sheet, though. I'll have to do that when I get home from work tonight. I will say that I previously tried some of the chang...

Latest version of menu ignores CSS styles
Hello everyone, It has been some time since I've been on this forum. I had stopped updating my version of the menu because at one point, the released version started ignoring my css styles. I was never able to figure out why. Just a few days ago I tried updating the menu version again and the menu s...

Re: Latest version of menu ignores ONCLASS/OFFCLASS???
Ruth,
OOPS! I totally forgot to reply to this post. I grabbed the code from your example site. You may remove it now, if you haven't done so already.
Have you reported this to Andy? Did he have any response as to why it wasn't following my css styles?

Re: Where to put <noscript>?
Hello, The NOSCRIPT tag should be used within the body. I use the noscript tag to design a backup menu in case the user doesn't have javascript enabled in their browser. To see an example, go to my site (in my signature) and look at the code. Then go to FireFox and turn off javascript. Hope this hel...

Re: Latest version of menu ignores ONCLASS/OFFCLASS???
and the css class you are calling for that last item, which is really to make it spread out like the Home one is .last{padding-top:0px;padding-right:15px;padding-bottom:3px;padding-left:3px;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:top;} I will report it, but what I gave above makes it look pretty close ...

Re: Latest version of menu ignores ONCLASS/OFFCLASS???
Ruth, Thanks for the advice. I'm not sure that I will go with the latest version, though, if I can't style it with CSS. :>( I see that you mention to create a style for the last item in order to make it render like the first rest. This has been a problem with the menu for some time :>( The menu stil...

Re: Help with a menu
Ok...Your menu does not seem to be the Milonic menu. Maybe you got here by mistake? This is a support forum for the Milonic Menu only. If what you have is a Milonic menu, I certainly do not recognize any of the code. If not, try the MIlonic Menu out, it's a great menu! http://milonic.com
Sorry.
Sorry.

Re: Help with a menu
It would be a big help if you could post a link or post your menu_data.js file so we can see what's going on. Generally, the menu should open to the left or right. Is your menu vertical or horizontal?

Re: Latest version of menu ignores ONCLASS/OFFCLASS???
Hello Ruth! Ok, I've managed to setup an example for you even though the site is still in development. I've uploaded a bare-bones page for you to see the difference. I've stripped down all code and all css styles to limit them down to whatever is necessary for the menu. I've removed all competing ja...

Latest version of menu ignores ONCLASS/OFFCLASS???
Hello everyone, Boy, have things changed since I was last in here! Ruth, John, it's good to see you're still in here! I just updated my menu version from 5.773 to 5.787 (latest). I've updated the menu with little-to-no trouble in the past but this time it's different. I partially style my menu with ...
