Hi Ruth

Thanks a lot for the suggestion - it worked a treat. And you were right, as I was using images simply putting it in the menu class worked fine.

Cheers!

Hi Ruth, many thanks for the reply. I'm surprised anyone was bothered to read it lol :-)

As for the first query, I'm still not having any luck with it. On first loading the site it works fine and also when you have loaded a page and waited a few seconds (without going near the menu). But if you ...

Menu Adjustments

Hey guys

I was delighted with what I thought was the finished menu until my client asked for the following (absurb?) adjustments - which I personally don't think can be done lol. That said however, I thought I'd ask anyway...

Font weight and openmenubyurl

Hey guys

Just a quick one. Is there a menu property which can set the font weight to bold 'after' a new page has loaded and the openmenubyurl script has done its magic? I'm currently using oncolor which changes the font color when you hover over an item and this is retained when the active submenu ...

Hey guys

Sorry for the delay in replying - been a bit busy.

Thanks for all the suggestions - they worked a treat! I have purchased the menu and have it working just how I want it.

I do have one or two minor queries but they are nothing urgent so have posted these in separate threads (to help with ...

Ok i think im almost done with the customising of my menu. Still not sure why the openmenusbyurl script wont work if the pages are in subfolders. As soon as I move them to my root folder it works ok.

I've also got another issue im sure someone could help me with. I've read a few threads about ...

Hi Andy

Thanks for the quick response.

Unfortunately changing the above code results in the menu not loading at all. As you can see on http://www.convey365.com/dev/ nothing appears where the menus should be. Sorry to be a pain...

Kind Regards

Mark

Hi Ruth,

Many thanks for your reply.

I have since downloaded the sample menu so I could have a play with it. All in all its going very well, although I've posted a query regarding the openmenusbyurl.js script in the Help and Support form (more to come lol).

I think I'll be purchasing the menu ...

openmenusbuurl.js - Pages in Subfolders

Hey guys

I'm on the verge of purchasing the full version of the menu but am still experiencing a few minor issues with my site. Heres the main one atm:

I have an index.php to which all my pages are passed into (i.e. index.php?page=contact). Now the openmenusbyurl scripts works great if the page am ...

Hi Ruth,

Many thanks for your reply.

I've checked the links you posted. Those pages do look very straight forward as far as customising the menu goes.

Just one more thing, I assume cross browser compatibility isn't an issue (providing they have JS enabled) ?

Thanks again

Mark

Menu Requirements

Hey guys

Apologies if this post is in the wrong section, if so please feel free to move it.

I have been battling with a number of code snippets (both CSS and JS) for sometime now but still haven't managed to get a menu system working that I'm completely happy with. I have been working on the ...
