you're right !!
it is working, if in the second file, i put drawmenu(); at the end. If i let it in the first file, it doesn't work !

well, it is really simple. Excel is able to create a txt file, and you call it as you want... with a .js for exemple

Hi !
in order to simplify updating of my menu, i made a small excel sheet wich generate all ai(); lines which contains menu informations and item.
Is it possible to separe in another file this informations, and to have, in the menudata.js file a line like "include file_ai.js" for exemple ?

Hi,
i'm trying to update my menu, by using the php/mysql which is in the extras menu :
I test it in local area (wamp), so i've created a special base for it :
this is working, but the menu is very simple : i think it is normal, because the menu's name is "mini" but, when i'm trying to upgrade it ...

Thanks a lot for your answer, but, on your sample, i think it is the way to follow if you want to have several times the same menu on the page.
In my case, i would be able to insert 2 differents menus... i don't think this way is descrived... but i'm not sure of my translation...

your menus are so nice !
but, as i'm working on a phpnuke site, i would like to have 2 menus in the same page, one dedicated to the site, and one used only for the forum.
is it possible ?
i've already change directories for each menu, and there are pointing the good one, but, there are mixed ...
