Milonic JavaScript Menu

Anyone know how to get... <a href="mailto:another@anyplace.com">Ticket Officer</a> to work directly from a menu entry? I have tried everything I know (escaping " thus \" etc...) and cannot get it to work. Maybe it's not possible, but I would have thought it should be.

I have a standard vertical menu, in a side frame, running perfectly except for one thing... The first time use is very slow - sometimes as long as three seconds. Thereafter it is fine. Does anyone know of a way of preloading whatever needs to be preloaded to improve this first response time? See it ...
