First...Sorry I got the CODE tag wrong in my prior comment. As I said before I have a link back to milonic on every page of my website but the text wraps. (not a hard break in the code, just a wraparound put in by my html editor) This wraparound apparently is not acceptable to the milonic validity c...

Kevin that did it. I went into my source code using notepad and hand edited the code so that it was all on one line: [code<P><A HREF="http://www.milonic.com/">JavaScript Menu Courtesy of Milonic.com</A> </P>] Originally I copied the code from the Milonic page and pasted it into my Softquad...

Just to eliminate any thought that some of the other javascript on my page could be causing the problem. - I eliminated all code on the page except for the menu calls and the milonic linkback.

Thanks Ruth. I moved the script from the head to the body. I still get the dialog box with Netscape 7.2 and Firefox V 1. I DID NOT get the dialog box with Internet Explorer 6.

So that you can better help me with this, please look at the test folder that I created with ONLY my index page (no graphics). I put the version 7.12 in this folder. You can see the resulting alert box. FYI the 'exact' Milonic linkback tag is included on this page. Please look at: http://www.gbgm-um...

With V 5.712 get unlicened Milonic DHTML menu Dialog Box

I just installed Version 5.712 and to my amazement when I checked into my site I got a dialog box advising that I was using an unlicened copy of the menu. I checked and did in fact have a licensed copy installed: License Details: Number: 186030 URL: http://www.gbgm-umc.org/wesley-va/ Type: Free Date...

Andy, thanks & thanks to others who commented on this topic. I downloaded V 5.71 and installed it just now. All is well. The tooltip does NOT exhibit a link characteristic now.

Your fast as usual, Andy.

/ undefined error with Version 1.3 Tooltip and V 5.7 Menu

I installed V 5.7 Menu and the associated Version 1.3 tooltip script. If one places the cursor over a tooltip message you will see that the URL ends in /undefined. Of course if you click on the tooltip you get a page not found error. I didnt notice this to be the case with the older tooltip/menu sw....

Noticed an interesting menu

I ran across a website that has a Milonic looking menu and also has a capability that I havent seen before. With Milonic one can set it for scolling. With this menu it stays in place at the top left and the page info scrolls. One might say, so, you can do that with frames. The best I can tell this w...

Multiple top level buttons sometime stay highlighted (sticky

I have gone back to version 5.52 since when I updated to version 5.62 my top level menu buttons became 'sticky' and as you ran your cursor across the buttons more than one would sometimes stay highlighted. I just regressed back to 5.52 and all is nominal again. This occurs with both NS 7.2 and IE 6....

Call a second menu array.js from within a menu

Possibly this can be done now however I had asked the question two times previously and didn't get any replies. If it doesnt already exist - It would be nice to be able to call a second on-mouse-over unique popup menu array as a menu item from the main menu. If the capability exists - how do I call ...

Re: Call a separate popup menu from a static menu?

Wonder if anyone has a suggestion how I can accomplish using a static menu item to call up a popup menu. Please read the three posts above for further information on what I would like to accomplish. The example is located at http://www.gbgm-umc.org/wesley-va/indextest.html You will see that the Alex...

Re: IE filters using v3.4.03

I took a look at your site and have a comment regarding the placement of your menu on the page. Netscape has a problem when a menu item appears over a field. I cannot see some of your dropdown selections as a result of this (search field). If your menu was placed higher on the page this would not be...

Screen Position Question

Screen Position can be defined as center;left;right;middle;top;bottom and combinations. How can I make my vertical menu always appear a certain number pixels from the right side of the screen irrespective of the screen sizing (800x600, 1024x768, etc)? I know that I can define the left position howev...

Re: Call a separate popup menu from a static menu?

I just put up an example of what I would like to do at: http://www.gbgm-umc.org/wesley-va/indextest.html You will see a first level vertical menu on the right side of the page and a text link below it that says Alexandria District. When you put your cursor over the text link a popup appears near the...

Re: Call a separate popup menu from a static menu?

I should have also said that I want the popup to appear with a mouseover on the static menu item vs a click and have it to remain visible only as long as I have the timegag set for. The popup timegap will be set for about 3000 to give slow fingers a long time to figure out whats going on and move th...

Call a separate popup menu from a static menu?

I would like to call a popup (separate array.js) from an existing menu (which has its own unique array.js). I have both arrays working for the separate menu's and at the present I use a separate text link to bring up the popup. I would like to call the popup up as a menu selection from within my sta...
