wow

My god, this is great! I can't wait to try. Milonic has opened so many areas of creative thought for me by providing the technology that drives the menu systems. I just finished my site's redesign based on the menus ( http://www.littleviews.com and need to get back to posting content. While my site'...

Ok - I'll put it together

I sent another document to the service desk on the subject of ColdFusion but I've since become smarter. The most revealing information will take less than a half page and I'll leave it up to you how you want to package the info. How should I submit it?

mouse change is OK

That mouse change isn't a killer, but if you can figure it out and let us know the answer (your head on or off), that'd be great. I could contribute a page on how to set up in ColdFusion. I had a bit of trouble wrapping my head around the information at first. The directions about duplicating menu_d...

How do you initially link the basic files to a system?

Hi - when I played around with the system last week, I used the recommended linking system which did not include notation such as "(ns4)_d.write("<"+_s..." When I installed the pro version, some of the documentation indicates using the simplified link system, and others, the more...

Hmmmm, too!

Ruth, can I get a copy of that demo page? The Actions menu doesn't show up in Notepad. I'd be interested to see what would happen if that static Actions was in the middle of the submenu. BTW, I have two other questions related to declaring the basic JS files which I'll post on another msg. As for Co...

other tricks?

Hi - I agree with Ruth. I just looked at your site when a video appeared and your menus worked perfectly. I'm on PC IE. You might want to craft some type of tricky workaround just in case of failures. I can see you have a lot of linked content ... but on the offending areas of your menu, you might w...

Thanks, Ruth . . .

I'll buy you a double Cappuccino for that answer if you are ever in NY!

I see how that item declaration works

Thanks! I see how the item declaration works and plan on playing with it more. I can now manage the look of that header so that the colors don't change. I still get the mouse pointer over it, as though it is a selection even though there's no url connected with it. That is NO big deal, but if you ha...

One pixel difference

Hi - I just posted my menu and can see that there is a single pixel difference between my main and my submenu. Is there any way to resolve this? My main menu is in a table cell, BTW.

The menu is at http://www.littleviews.com

How do you create a header?

Hi - I launched phase 1 of my menu today http://www.littleviews.com

Now then, what I'd like to do is create a line in the submenu that does NOT get the mouseover treatement. Is it possible to do this?

How do you make a non-selectable separator?

I'd like to make a separator as a topic introduction in a submenu. Example:

See Article Index
Last 6 Articles:
Article 1 . . .
Article 2 . . .
Article 3, etc.

The separator line is "last 6 articles." How is this done?

Andy, happily, the instructions for ColdFusion implementation are really brief! I'll send you information via your support link, unless you have a better way to do this. You'll be able to make your system available for the ColdFusion community via Adobe's programmer community area.

The list and your reply greatly clarifies things

Thanks. This menu system is so way awesome!

BTW, I'm working in ColdFusion and can be a resource in that area, should it be needed. I'd be happy to contribute a document on how a beginner can conceptualize the menu's relationship to a .cfm page, for example.

Is there a complete attributes list?

Hi - I am designing my menu for the first time using such things as oncolor and offcolor but have come up with some mystery attributes, such as on the main menu sample I'm using, there is an onboarder, which appears to do nothing and a pagecolor, which also does nothing. and what, exactly, is the he...
