Re: iPad menu issues

Any updates on this issue? I have several old sites that need a new menus system that will work on ipads and iphones and am thinking of milonic since I have used this system before.

Thanks

Re: Latest version of menu ignores CSS styles

Hi Ruth...will address the issue of upgrading but I do not see anything out there that speaks to the font size issue. What is funny is that I can increase the font size and see that change in Opera and Chrome but when I try to go below the 10px font size it will not change. It does on the other brow...

Re: Latest version of menu ignores CSS styles

How can I get Opera and Chrome to respond to a fontsize change? I have menu version 5.83 and setting the fontsize to 10px works just fine in IE and FF but in Opera and Chrome it is as if nothing affects the font size. I have a center menu that is wrapping because it needs to be a smaller font and no...

Re: sitemap not working mm_siteIndex

I found one mistake in that I did not have the right path to my js file...but adding the windows attributes and page title with css file kills the menus. If I take all those out all I get is a display of the js file code.

Any ideas?

sitemap not working mm_siteIndex

I looked at all the posts back 2009 and tried them all and when I add this line aI("text=Site Map;url=javascript:mm_siteIndex('top=0,left=0,height=500,width=400', 'SiteMap','roundhill.css');"); To my data file all the menus go away. I added the mm_siteIndex.js file right under the located ...

activating two submenus above and below horizontal menu

I know...what? I have a menu in test that has a dumbie submenu that opens up above each item as you mouseover the horiz. menu items. It looks like the menu expands upward when you mouseover. But when there is a real submenu that has links etc. that opens down. Is there as setting that allows both su...

Re: Accessibility and keyboard-only users

I find that if I do a noscript tag and place all the menus in list format the sitemap tool from coffeecup works just fine. I will play with the tools you sent me to look at. Part of the reason I did the menus hidden behind the noscript tag is for 508 compliance and the ability to see a menu structur...

Re: works in ie but not in ff

I had placed the code in the main object flash parameters but did not have it in the js as you pointed out. It also fixed a problem in the way IE looked with the flash layout....now for someone to kick APPLE and fix the non-flash on the IPAD. Thanks again for the help. There is always something with...

Re: works in ie but not in ff

The light just went on as there is a section of the flash that is only read by IE and that is what you are referring too. Just love IE (NOT)...there is always something!!

Thanks

Re: works in ie but not in ff

Not sure we are on the same page. What you sent me was todo with menus showing over the top of flash. This was a problem with the way the submenus relate in positioning to the main menus...got it fixed.

Re: weird sub offset in FireFox, Safari & Chome - IE ok [SOLVED]

I am having a similar problem. I have two menus one at the top and one on the left. They are positioned using the top and left attributes because they need to be inside of divs. They work fine in IE v8 and the submenus do not have any positioning rules...just the item width. In Firefox the submenus ...

works in ie but not in ff

There is something I am missing in the setup of the menus...not the first time I've used them either. I have a site www.stephenwellsmd.com and the menus work just fine in IE but now in FF the sub menus are all over the place. What is going on? I had left positions and top defined in the left menu an...

Re: Accessibility and keyboard-only users

I have an interesting problem and thought someone might know the answer. I am using milonic menus on a site and then use an application from coffecup called sitemapper. It works great if you are not using dhtml menus or menus like milonic which are js based. I have a site www.fxtas.org that I have i...

Re: Tooltips not working

I actually solved the whole problem by looking at the rev level of the menu and bought the latest version...that solved the problem. The version of menu was below what the tooltips js file supported.

Re: Tooltips not working

I have looked all over to figure out why my tooltips for my menus do not work. Can someone tell me by looking at one of my pages? Here is the link to the page and I have all the code where it should be but it is as if I did nothing. http://www.wwmgmt.org/stephenwellsNEWcom/billing.htm Be aware that ...

Re: Mouse Over on Treemenu

Hi Ruth...I have the same question. I want the mouseover to open the treemenu because the top level menu item is a link to another page. Is it not possible at all with the tree or do I have to make the submenu contain my top level menu item and just make the top level clickable with out a link? I ju...

Re: Can you add the current date into a menu?

Thanks for the help...I actually played with the code and figured out how to do it along with using the piece that adds the "st" or the "rd" etc. depending on the numeric day. So not it shows "May 1st 2010" or as for today "May 3rd 2010" Coding always frustrat...

Re: Can you add the current date into a menu?

I am not that good at scripts and am wondering if you can change the order of the date?
Right now is says Sat 1st May 2010....would like it to say just May 1, 2010

Is there a way to tweak the code to do that?

Thanks

Re: ADA compliancy

Hi Ruth
I used the no script method out on the fxtas site and it works just fine. But what is the class "milonic" all about? Is there some sort of file associated with these text menus?

Thanks
