Re: IE 11 broke my submenus
Sorry for the delay in getting back to this.
Basically, development has ceased for the treemenu code based around DHTML menu in favor of our new Webplugs product.
Would you like me to get a demo of your menu running but using our new Webplugs code?
Regards,
Andy

Re: Menu mouse over is not working consistently.
tooltips.js is being referenced twice in your HTML at lines 1123 and 1151 - pointing to this file: https://totalview-qa.totality.com/total ... ooltips.js
It's an old incompatible version causing the problem

Hi,
Did you ensure that you updated treemenu.js?
You'll need to update all files as there may be changes in the modules.

Andy

Re: Memory leak on frames
I have tested over and over but cannot recreate a memory leak on any of the Windows machines we have.
Not sure how we can proceed without witnessing it.

Re: Submenus no longer working in IE
I'm afraid not.
The problem is that IE11 pretends to be Firefox and it's not an easy fix.
I'll happily fix the display issues for you though.

Re: jQuery conflict
Should just be a matter of upgrading milonic_src.js and mmenudom.js - menu data files are fully compatible with older releases as long as it's version 5.
Obviously, any problems get back to us and we'll do what we can.

Well spotted, Ruth
I can confirm that the menu does in fact work correctly with the latest version on your website.
So, all you need to do is upgrade

Re: Help with menu in jsp
Hi,
Sorry for the delay.
Yes I got the emails but noted that it's version 3 of the menu and the upgrade looked like it would take quite some work to complete.
Are you able to make changes to the code yourself?

Re: Help with menu in jsp
I see the problem now.
Looks like you are running version 3 of the menu and version 5 (which is what you need) has a different set of files.
Is there anyway that we can see the actual website or could you email me a copy of your .jsp file?
my email username is andy and the domain is milonic.com

What exactly is the problem.hvs123 wrote:I need help in implementing the menu from within a jsp. Can anyone help me figure out how to connect the pieces?
The menu is Javascript and all you really need is a HTML page. I assume your .jsp pages are plain text?

Hi,
Your support had not been updated. email mismatch.
I have now corrected this so if you try again, the licensed menu should be delivered.

Re: Submenu drop down and tablets and other touch screen dev
The menu does actually appear to be working. However, what is happening is that because of the url specified in the parent menu items, your visitor is being taken to the another page on your website. By touching the screen to open the menu, what happens is your user is effectively clicking the link....

Re: IE 11 broke my submenus
Hi Keith, Here's a workaround: Edit milonic_src.js and add this to the end of the file: _d.write("<style>.milonic{width:1px;visibility:hidden;position:absolute}</style>"); If you have trouble getting this to work, or if it corrupts milonic_src.js, let me know and I'll have another think. H...
