You might also want to start with the latest version rather than the one you have listed.

Are you sure its not just the current page item color and current page background color?

Once you change the home button to your own URL, the menu will spot that the current page is the same url as the menu item and apply those colors specifically assigned to the current page.

Are the asp pages and the html pages all in the same directory? I notice that you don't specify the location of the menu files in the asp page.
If the path is wrong (no js files in the current directory) then the script lines will just be silently ignored.

You don't need anything in the document apart from the two lines where you call the javascript. All you need to do is to ensure that the path is correct in relation to where you have stored the page, and then you need to remove your comment marks in ...

I think you will struggle because your table has a fixed width, and is automatically centred. This means that you cannot predict the left edge of the menu.

You can though center the menu on the screen.

If you setup the menu with 5 horizontal items, and set the menu width to be 140 (5 x 140 ...

This parameter seems strange to me.
Any value at all indicates that the 'menu' should be 100% wide, and then the value is used to set the height in pixels.

ie, a value of 20 produces a bar of 20 pixels high, across the entire width of the screen.

It's quite acceptable to have the menu files in one location. The site I run has a single copy of the menu structure all stored in the _borders directory.

Just make sure that:

- the path on each page points to the absolute path ...

You can set loadWait to 1 in mmenu.js

This is not desired however as you will need to wait until your tables and content have been drawn before the menu will show.
