Milonic JavaScript Menu

Hi, My menu.js file calls for an itemwidth="100%" and I'd like to know if there a way to modify/override a menu's style in the HTML code itself - without having to edit the menu.js file itself? Sort of like how inline CSS overrides a style sheet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Than...

I basically want to know if I can add overbgimage='images/button.gif'; to my menu other than by using the menu_data.js file? Can this be done by adding the overbgimage='images/home_button.gif'; code somewhere in the HTML... or some other way?
