pageimage reply
here is the url http://www.prtassoc.com/test I tried changing the path and it still doesn't work. The menus are called from a header include file. Everything else works. The bottom menu is in a bottom include file that has the menus code inserted in a table. I have left it alone as text until I can ...

bgimage for all graphic men not working - SOLVED
I have the following menu and have created two images for each menu item. That works great but I wanted to have a background image appear behind the menu item that corresponds to the page they are on. This works great with text menus and pagecolor. I created a graphic that has a height 4 pixels tall...

Here is the url but it is in test mode
This is a new client....and I have been trying to get him to change over to your system. http://www.prtassoc.com/test/president.asp move the mouse over the picture starting from the left side of the picture and the tool tip will appear. Then move it to the right and watch the scroll bar appear on th...

fonts support
After thinking about it I came to the same conclusion. The only font that is close that the world has on their browsers is Arial...square721 BT is nice and some people have it but it looks like I will have to go with creating graphics for each menu item or convincing the client to not use the font.

fonts support
I want to use a particular font square721 BT that is on some users PCs but not others. Is there a way to place the font file in the menu style code and reference it? I know fonts are loaded into a microsoft system on re-boot but not being that familiar with the code for fonts I wasn't sure if includ...

Another bug I found using tooltips
There maybe a fix but I can't find it. If the tooltip is long and it follows the mouse when it moves to the right border of the browser window it makes the horiz scroll bar activate and create a wider page. That should be OK but it then leaves the scroll bar and the window wider than normal. The pre...

tooltip fixed...almost
Since I have only used the menus and didn't care what order they where called in i was not aware that the tooltip.js file needs to be called BEFORE the menu file is called. I just assumed it didn't matter. Not sure I saw anything out on the instrucstions page for tooltips that said that...might be s...

tooltips not working on menu but does work on graphic
I added the call to the tooltips.js file on my page and then added in one of my menu items tootip=this is a test; It never shows up or gives an error. I then used your mouseover code to see if the tooltip worked on a graphic and it worked fine. Just need to figure out how to change the font etc. of ...

sound example
I actually figured it out from one of your examples. The only problem is that it takes time for the sound to get loaded and therefore makes using the menus a bit slow for the first time. The files are really small...1k It was just something to play with.
Thanks

looking for an example of sound on mouseover
I know you can do a onfunction on a menu but I just want to see an example on a site so I can test it againest several browser types and then it would be nice to see the aI for one of the items. I did a search but kept coming up with a link to a page that would not load.

Great stuff...but
Some of them have examples associated with them. Is there any of the menus that incorporate these plug ins so we can see how they actually look and feel? I know that when they are free it is tough to ask for even more time.
Thanks again for the tip

That makes sense !
That makes perfect sense since they are absolute positioning I can have a submenu call in the mouseover and have the submenu show up anywhere...I do that all the time but position it in relation to the master menu item. I just saw this in another site and thought it was a nice effect to just present...

Can Milonic menus do something like this site?
http://www.californiamoves.com/ Has a javascript menu system on the right side that is very much like milonic. Not being a javascipt programmer I can only guess that this might be possible. It looks like the text area of the script goes up into a area that is not on the button. The button has pregra...

Sound with menu
I appreciate your testing this. The only thing that scares me away from this method is the fact that I have to place some code on each page. I have a site that has over 3000 pages and I just don't want to update all those pages.
Thanks

sound on a mouseover
I know Ruth talked about this about a year ago but I was wondering if with the new menu files there might be an example of using a sound file on a mouseover. I just want to be sure of the script etc..
Thanks

Here is an example and dialogue on the subject
In NS 4.75 the fact that there is no background image gives me a green gray background on the main menu instead of a transparent background. I believe the color it is using is the one I use for the divider between menu items. The other problem that might solve both problems is this; Can I use a back...

That moves the menu items but not the seperator bars
Thanks...that moved the menu items (text) but the separator bars which are declared in where the url goes (separatorcolor=gray) don't move.

Now that the subject is open, what about center web pages
If I choose to have my pages center in the browser the menus don't line up because the positioning is relative to the browser window. Is there a way to "trap" them and keep them at the same place? I expect the answer is put them in a table. That doesn't always seem to work. Any other ways?
