Well, I tried the site. As far as the .doc extensions, they must work since I could get the ethicspolicystatement.doc when I clicked the link. The others that were in the http://www.jozie.net/JF/Charter/charter wouldn't come up at all, not even the .htm pages. I dont' really know anything about nest...

?

I have a request which I think is not something most would want. Do you do such things for a charge...if it's feasible and who and how would I contact someone about it to find out if it can be done and more importantly if I have the funds to pay for it?

Help, Please. Opera 6 won't take full menu, only smaller one

Well, I finally found out why the menu is not working in opera 6 but have no idea how to fix it. I edited the menu array, putting one thing at a time in so I could find the error. It turns out that for some reason Opera 6 will only accept so much material. When I add another submenu after a certain ...

Sorry, I can't answer your question, since I don't even know what you're asking , but I went to the site to see it and I get a javascript error. When I try to mouseover it gives me line: whatever number, it changes character: again it changes error: underfined is undefined or 'mover' is undefin...

I'm just curious, but I've heard that with so many browsers out there detection of browser is not the way to go but rather detection of what they do or render or something. Sorry, I don't know how to express it. Something about instead of if netscape 4, you'd do if whatever it can render, read, some...

Well, I've tried NN 4.08, 4.79, and Opera 6. It does the same thing as it does in my IE 5.0 Picks up the font color of the page...In NN there's no border but that's ok. The menu doesn't work at all in Opera though it renders in the same color as IE, I'm hoping that going to version 5 will fix it. I ...

text swap onMouseover

On version 3 I have a part of the menu that I've put in font changes and an image and a text swap. I can get all but the text swap to work in version 5. Can someone help? I have the <.script> code in the head necessary for the 'function'. <span onMouseOut=\"changeText(this,'<font color=CC99FF>C...

I read these because I get some good info on things. I was wondering if there's a way to get around how the browser sets their 'text' size, maybe some kind of code that tells it not to change size? Like they have the noprint and such? Just curious

Notify of new posts

I might be 'mis' remembering this but I think I only used to get notification of new posts if I wasn't the one who posted the original topic. Now I'm getting notification if I respond to a post in response to my original topic. [boy that sounds convoluted] Hmm, let's see. OK, I post a topic, someone...

Actually, isn't the full path something like http://us something/treasury/SideMenu5 ? if that's the case, doesn't the scriptpath have to have more than the /SideMenu5/ wouldn't it need the /treasury/SideMenu5/ I don't know  Just a thought.

You're welcome. Just a suggestion, but you should put in the size in the image, makes things load better. <.img src="whatever.gif" width="112" height="58" border="0"> The border =0 is important since some browsers will put a border if it doesn't expressly say ...

transparency

hmm, can I have my own forum for questions :P J/K.... OK, in 3 I used "" to make the various on/off colors and bgcolors transparent, I also used that in the separator section. I tried using it in 5 and it seems to work the same. I like it because what it does is pick up the page font color...

:D The one thing I DO know about is the scriptpath, I had so much trouble when I first did my site years ago because of not having the correct paths, I've never forgotten that. Thanks for the example, I'll play with it and see what I can do. I think the problem is more in the area of not understandi...

Do you mean you want the horizontal menu that is on the page centered and at the top of the page? If so, it is centered...if you consider the image you have to the left, which is 112 pixels wide. If you center it, it will go over the image. However, try this page...I fixed the image so it is a bit '...

grrr this is so frustrating. Yes, I keep getting told to learn css, jscript, dhtml and so on, well I don't have the time, unless in your creation of the menu you've also discovered how to put about 4 more hours in a day.... Not understanding those things is of course making this very dif...

anchor links, backimage code conversion from 3 to 5 version

I have this property array in my version 3 menu and can't figure out how to convert it to version 5. Not the size and stuff, just the #top part which makes an anchor link to go back to the top of whatever page you are on when you click it. And, there is a code in version 3 called backimage. How do I...

Well, for some it probably is. I think for others whose knowledge of web page things is limited to basic html, like font and such, who have no clue about style and layers and etc., it isn't so easy. And I've looked at a sample, but then since I have no idea what the things mean in the sample... :lol...
