I put your pages up at my aol site. LINK REMOVED It seems to work fine, though I must tell you, controling the size of the browser window is not appreciated by many. For example, your page went beyond my monitor screen size...... I'd suggest you didn't do that, let the people visiting decide what si...

Is a top of page anchor link within the menu possible?
Is there a way to put an anchor link within the menu that just goes to the top of whichever page on which the menu is being utilized? I tried using #, that does nothing, so then I tried using that with target=_top, that actually ends up being a regular link back to the index page on the site. I don'...

I put a page up at aol, it seems to work fine. The only working link is to milonic, I didn't bother with any others since this is just a test page. LINK REMOVED Perhaps you could give a link to the page that doesn't seem to be working, it's hard to tell the problem without being able to see the page...

I guess since they both work it doesn't matter if it's in the head or body. I don't really know since I don't know much about code. As to the images, if you check the path you have listed and go to the images folder there is NO arrow.gif in the folder, or arrow_down.gif for that matter. the path for...

Kari, The frames_side_array.js commands a show-menu=databases, and the code to call that side array is on the frames_side.htm. The array which has that databases is the frames_body_array.js and the code to call that file is on the frames_body.htm page. When you click the test link and call the page ...

Ok, what the heck am I doing wrong? I put the code in but whenever I mouseover I get an error message that an object is expected. I do have another option, I used it in the one down from this one..9-11, that's text and it imitates a 'mouseover' but uses image swap, I just put in a transparent 1x1 px...

It seems that you have posted twice only on checking the posts, both of which are nasty, snide implications that somehow you are being put upon and ignored. Yet, there is NOT one post with a question about the problem [unless you use another name to post] to see if someone can give you answers as to...

Swapimage - could one do something to 'swaptext'?
I have used the swap image and it works fine, but I was wondering if it were possible to 'swaptext' using onMouseover? I'm sure I saw something somewhere about changing text on mouseover but I don't know if it could be done in the menu? It would be real nice as an option, save having to use images f...

I agree. And I've got Opera version 6.05 and so far all that I've checked works in it. This is a great forum and place to get help. Everyone has been incredibly nice and puts up with my lack of knowledge. Even when I try to help and my suggestions are probably way too basic given my level of knowled...

Yes, I forgot I put all the files in the same folder to test it. But I also had to have a file called mmenudom.js in the folder, could that have something to do with it? I kind of open the files to see what they say, even if I don't know what most of it means...in the milonic_src.js It says somethin...

Thanks John. Well, some of the trouble is deciding how I want it to work and look. Heck, part of the trouble is just deciding..... :P LINK REMOVED and the question was posted on Aug 5 at the following thread in the forums, about an onclick close event. I did get a response but had another question t...

Thanks, Dave. I will mess with it, and no I'm not tech savvy. My method is to 'play' I guess the term would be. However, if the menu will take an onclick event to open it, isn't there a way to put in an onclick to close it also? Again, I really don't understand much how code works, I can copy and pa...

Thanks so much, Kevin. At some point...probably distant future when 5 is out of date.. :P I will download it and try it. I'm still struggling with 3 and just about getting it to work.
