Ruth: How exactly did you do this? I tried copying what you had in the post, but it just comes through as the same code as in your post. I didn't get any menu. Did you try my method? Interesting how it gives access to menus to any emailer but of course, that's what website and menus are for... so ot...

Ruth: Pretty neat. It worked. I emailed the longer [11 choice] submenu and recipients on my listserv can open a bunch of pages from their email window including a Contact Us email window. Already I'm getting rave reviews from some of them. To do this I created a separate menu data file <script type=...

Step One: in my html editor , I edit the scr= parameter so that it includes the code above.] Step Two: I click back to Normal from Source so it's more, er, gooey, er GUI. Step Three: I browse it and in the browser I click Control/A followed by Control/C. This copies the entire page to the clipboard....

Ruth: I don't want to email a link. I kind of stumbled on this without really intending it and kinda liked it. It's more like emailing an html page [in this case I experimented with a page I have in the main iframe but bear in mind it's not a clickable link, but the entire page] except that the menu...

submenus in email
This probably isn't meant to work, but I thought I should hang it out there. I can copy and paste an html page into an email window and have the milonic menu travel with the email with the following lines: <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.ohsaratoga.com/milonic_src.js&qu...

Hello menufurfer, Long time, no furf... Wink ;) Kevin: What a great memory, recalling my full handle, not just the shorthand mfurf. What do you eat for breakfast that I might have some too? Well I've tried it but can't seem to show the tool tip either in Firefox or IE 6. Here's my line: what am I m...

I see it fine in Firebird .07, but I'm getting the old version of the menu, not the new one. You have a call for tooltips.js but it's not there, or at least not where the path shows. Maybe that's causing a problem in the newer version of Firefox? By old version do you mean the previous [5.60] cut? ...

Ruth: I've been outta here for awhile and just got back. Going back to your It's because you've got followscroll=1; set in the submenu why would the followscroll = 1 work okay in the previous cut[s] and suddenly change just because I updated the version? I hadn't edited or altered my menu_data.js. /...

Ruth: Would you give it a try now in Opera; I've switched the code from the index file to the logo file. It seems to work fine in Mozilla, IE6, but the side menu does not appear at all in Firefox 1.0.1 unless [are you ready for this?] it's on the local drive, and then it works. I was sure there was ...

Latest Version Undoes Scrolling Menu
In addition to a sidebar style menu, I have a scrolling menu in the site's iframe. It all worked well this long time. Just today I happened to scroll the menu and see that, huh?, the submenu detaches and doesn't scroll [it stays in the fixed position at the very top of the iframe. At first I couldn'...

whaywardj: Had a look at your site. My experience is that the submenus stay on top in IE6 but are inaccessbile in the Geckos [Firefox and Mozilla] because they have a fixed position almost offscreen [in IE their positioning correctly follows the scrolling]. Also in the Geckos your Primary and Rates ...

Lean Mean Iframes
Ruth and Armin, here's my two cents after looking at Armin's site. When I first started with Milonic menus I had a frameset, then I had tables. But I found that staying away from tables and substituting lean, mean iframes seems to solve browser compatibility problems [except for the antiques which d...

Ooops, I could be wrong about the Mozilla blip. What's  wrong with my brain!! Today while driving back through the woods it suddenly dawned on me, I had uploaded the three 5.33 code files and checked then checked in Mozilla the menu's effect on the scrolling submenus and pronounced the problem...
