slight problem after update to version 5.735

Hi all, A while back, Andy helped me tweak a electronic form that used the menu to dynamically generate "pseudo" pull-down menus in some blank text fields. Has always worked fine... but when I update from 5.727 to the latest 5.735... the "pseudo" menu no longer works. Scroll down...

Thank you Andy!!!! John and Kevin, too! I sincerely appreciate everyone going well above and beyond the call of duty to help me here. Give me your PO boxes and I'll send you all cookies next time I bake! 8) (1) Using the transparent.gif as an anchor for the popup() is a clever approach. Another idea...

John, Andy & Ruth, :D Thanks very much for your input and especially for your time! I just remembered that I have a version of Netscape 4.79 on my old laptop. Ruth, I had the same result you had... the page loaded... but the clock animation never went away in Netscape 4.79. I've read that NS 4.7...

Hi John, Sorry for the confusion. I am a Milonic client, I purchased a reseller 10 pack in September 2003. I have licensed version of the Milonic menu on 9 websites currently. I'm a big fan of the menu and Milonic's work and service in general, and have been recommending to friends since finding it ...

Hi folks, I know a lot of knowledgable people frequent this forum so I am going to post something non-menu related hoping for a little help/feedback: I've working on a registration system for an All-State music festival. I've got a neat little script that will dump info into a database, allow it to ...

Thank you all. I have installed RC 14 (versus RC 12), but I don't think that will solve her problem since she as unable to see the menu Saturday on http://www.milonic.com, which was using RC 14 at the time, I believe. I'll recommend she reinstall IE. When you say that your machines cannot see v5 of ...

Thanks Kevin, She had just run Windows Update before I arrived to work on her computer. (It had not worked correctly even prior to that.) If everyone is on agreement that her browser (or Windows Registry) is probably corrupt... then that's what I'll tell her. I am pretty sure she is under the impres...

Okay... I now have details. To sum up: I purchased the 10 pack license last weekend (several of my sites would probably qualify for free... but I want to support a good product)... implemented the menu on 10 sites in 2 days... (I'm actually a full time music teacher) the first complaint I heard was ...

Okay... so I am using: Version 5.0 Release Candidate 12.0 Built: Saturday September 27 2003 - 15:32. So I download and replace only my 'milonic_src.js' files? Thanks. I'm not sure what is meant by RC... I have seen several references to that in this forum. How do I check? I followed the link to download the .zip file for the script after I purchased a re-seller's 10-pack license last weekend, and used that as the basis for all my sites. So I assume what I...

problem loading the MENU

Hi all, A client just wrote me and said: "I really appreciate you continually improving our site. The new menu, however, does not appear to be working - at least on my computer. What I see when I go to our site are two small up/down arrows in the upper right corner, underneath the member login....

Hi again, I've seem to have answered my own question. I think I'm going to use FLASH rather than a DHTML vertical scroller. Saves resources, loads faster, too. Won't have to worry about conflicting with the Milonic Menu. Been shopping for a new menu for a few days now... I've been going back and for...

Vertical scroller

Hi all, What a wonderful script! As I play with it... I'm noticing that the Vertical Scroller scritp I use on my website causes the menu to fail with Netscape 4.79. I tried several of these scrollers from dynamicdrive.com, but none seem play nice with Milonic DHTML menu in Netscape's older browser. ...
