How do I get rid of the default drop-shadow effect around the whole menu?

Hi Phil,

The shadow is controlled by the overfilter property in the style, it will look something like this:
overfilter="Shadow(color='#777777', Direction=135, Strength=5)";

If you remove this line it should do the trick.
