Home Page link is in a different color

Post by CTT »

Newbie - just starting out with Milonic DHTML Menus.

Using license for non-profit with Milonic text link on page.

Page: http://www.uuss.org

The "home page" link on this page is displaying in blue. All other links are fine. Link works properly.

If I browse the same page using http://www.uuss.org/index.html as the URL the page displays properly.

Please tell me how I can fix this.

Thanks,
CTT

I'm guessing here but isn't it because of the home page url and the page you are on?

There is a function that highlights the current page you're on.

Because your link is http://www.uuss.org/ when you go to that page, it's highlighted in your menu.

But, when you go to the slightly different URL (even though it's ultiumately the same page), it's not highlighted because it's seen as a different page.

It's not showing on any other pages because you don't have the menu on them. But if you did, I would imagine the menu entry for that page would be highlighted.

Fred's right. It's a simple fix. Just go into the "menu_data.js" file and delete or comment out the entries for "pagecolor" and pagebgcolor".
Hope that helps :)
