Well, the Milonic DHTML Menu and Prototype 1.4 worked fine so this simply has to be their problem.

This has only just happened in their latest release, this means that have used a variable ($w) that we also use.
The menu and prototype (v 1.4) worked fine so this is something that they have introduced in their latest release.
Can you please contact them and tell them the situation. Milonic code was released many years before Prototype and we have already changed many of our variables to accommodate their recent entry into the JavaScript arena. I feel that this is going to happen every few weeks as they introduce more function names that collide with ours.
