Menu not visible in Safari

Post by glenp »

I'm being told that the menu dropdowns are not displaying for users using Safari v1.0+. The site is at http://www.port32.com.

If there is anyone out there that can verify this, it would be most appreciated (I'm on WinXP). We're using the 5.752 - Pre Release, Wednesday June 28 2006 - 12:15.

Actually they do display, but as soon as the Flash picture changes the subs go away. Will see what I can find.

BTW, it fails the same way using the latest FF.

Thanks for your reply. You're having trouble with FF? It works on my version (latest?) v1.5.0.4 with no issues.

http://www.port32.com/ff_screenshot.htm if this helps.

No, I'm getting exactly the same failure as with Safari - latest OS, latest browsers.

Now I'm really confused... it's strange that it works on one but not another using same version of FF.

Any luck with the Safari issue?

Not yet. I've pulled your code to my server to work on it, but am unable to get the special Flash embed to come down.

Thanks. Just need to figure out how to get that script to come down. Can't do anything without it!

Ok - I tried the Microsoft supported way of inserting Flash (http://milonic.com/activateflash.php)

http://www.port32.com/index2.asp

Any difference?

Works perfectly in both browsers! Such a deal.

BTW, those are really nice looking houses. Too bad Canada gets so cold...

Great! Thanks again for all your sleuthing on this.

Toronto can get cold, but we're definitely warmer than Montreal or Ottawa! We're actually on the same latitude of northern California, but I guess they're known for snow too.

Have a great day,

Glen

My pleasure. Besides, we love sleuthing (especially when it's successful) :!:

As for cold, even northern AZ winters are too cold for me.
