IE7 Milonic Menu Problem

Hello All,
I wonder if someone could help keep my sanity?

We've used the Milonic Menu on a number of sites without problem but this one is causing concern! On some pages (at random) in IE7, the menu doesn't show at all - just a white space where the menu should show.

The site is http://www.punjabkitchen.co.uk - The pages in which things go wrong mostly are the Product Catalogue pages (try clicking the links to the left of the page) - Sometimes the top menu shows, sometimes it doesn't. All is fine in Firefox and from what I can see, IE6.

Other sites don't display the problem in IE7 though.

I've downloaded the latest version etc.

Any advice greatly appreciated

While you may have downloaded the current version (5.775), did you forget to upload it to your server?

You still have 5.758 there, which is no longer supported here in the forum.

Hi John,
I've downloaded and installed the latest version now (I think) but the problem is still there and I also now see the forced message even though I've downloaded the site licensed version..

Hi all,
Thanks for all the information. As per one of the threads, commenting out:
overfilter="Fade(duration=0.1);Alpha(opacity=100);"
in the menu_code file solved the problem.

Milonic - any idea why this code should be causing a problem in IE7?

Hi,

The overfilter, outfilter are codes designed for Microsoft specific transitions and filters. I believe these are activeX so that may be an issue in IE7. It may have to do with Active X security settings. The reason there are no problems in the other named browsers is that these filters and transitions are proprietary to IE and don't work on those other products.
