XP Menu icons
Not a problem as such, just a question. Has anyone designed any of the little icons for the XP Style menu system. I've done a couple but don't want to waste time if someone else has a nice full set.
Perhaps we could collate our icons and have them available for download on the Milonic site?

I actually have a couple made already. They are a couple of my own design as well as some I lifted off of windows and shrunk down. What I would like to do is actually go through some of the dlls in XP and use those, it would really look sharp! Also, if anyone can get some nice 16x16s from some linux windows managers or OSX, that'd be great. There are some really nice ones out there!

Marty has been working on a full set of icons and other menuy type images.
She's psetering me to get them posted up and I'll see if I can get them up later this week.
I think we are talking of quantities in the thousands so the problem is getting a system built with the minimum of admin.
I'll keep you posted though.
Cheers

This is something I need too, I just grabbed whatever icons I had for now, but a nice set would be wonderful.
I should add a note on this, when I began designing the menu, I didn't like to use margin because it adds space at the end of the vertical menu. If you use separators this extra space is ignored by the separator.
So I adjusted the size of the images, to allow 2 extra pixels, enough space between the picture and the text I needed.
What I did was on the background image, took away 2px from the right of the first color.
The images had to be adjusted too. I suggested that the images be changed to allow space without needing the margin.
