1. I would like to request that you add the ability to underline text. Specifically, I want the text to underline on hover. I believe that this should be a seperate property from bold and italics in case you want to have it italics and underline.
2. Please seperate the vertical and horizontal Menu padding options into two properties. I know that there are work arounds for this, but it would be nice to not use a workaround.

Both of these feature have now been added to version 4.0
ondecoration is the variable name - you can apply this to menu items, as well as onbold, onitalic, onclass etc etc. Documentation on all 50 something properties will be forthcoming.
There is also a new function for creating a copy of a style that can be used to change configuration of horizonal/vertical menus
