Refining the current page highlight

Post by Stan »

I would suggest to refine the current page highlighting feature in the following way:

the menu item should be highlighted whenever the beginning of the current url matches the menu item url.

The current url may be specifying an anchor (#) while the menu does not, or may be specifying other parameters, such as cgi script parameters, beyond those specified by the menu url. I suggest that in both cases the menu item should be highlighted.

We've added this to the ToDo list so it will make it into the final release

Yeah, that's the one.

Is it not working then?

Nope.

I still see this behaviour using Mozilla Firebird 0.6 and the latest version of IE6.

I've just tested it and it does work.

I've created a sample at http://milonic.com/4beta/link.htm

There is a sub menu called "Some Links", select one of the menu items in there and see it in it's full glory :-)
