PRE SALES QUESTION

I own 4 domains, all 4 domains have the exact same content on them (basically just mirror sites) except the forum and helpdesk and are the exact same business. All 4 domains have the same name except for extention (.com, .org, .net, and .biz).

Products are sold through all 4 domains (1 computer system, some software games, and 3d Accessories). Again, all 4 domains have the exact same content.

the question I have, sense there all identical, basically just mirror sites, would this still require me to purchase 1 liscense for each domain name? I really dont need support for the menu system, its simple to use, easy to setup and haven't had a problem one with it while playing with it via a test page setup.

Noticed that if your business, big or small(mines very small), is not non-profit it says that you have to buy a liscense for each domain

but what about cases like this when there idenitical down to just about every detail except the domain extention?

Looking forward to hearing back from you on this, I've even interested someone else in your menu for use on there site rather then the slower one there currently using

they liked how it worked much better.

P.S. how i found out about your menu - liked the one that was at the Alienware site so i took a peek at the coding to find out who made it

One license will suffice for all domain names as long as the data comes from the same source and from the same server.

I'm assuming that this applies to you and that all domain names point to the same source of data and html. if so then just declare your main domain name (usually the dot com) in the purchase form.

For clarity and your piece of mind, if you let someone at Milonic know about this then your license will be amended to cover the other domain names just in case a problem comes up in the future.

the data's all stored on the same server however there copies for each domain (rather then domain name pointing), so the ip base of all 4 domains is the same, but each site has its own content (though identical content). perhaps i should rethink the domain pointing bit, but what i understood of that they basically acts as a redirect and i didn't want that.

The only trouble with redirects to different sources of data, is the potential for the data to change and effectively become a different site. This will then make the site subject to obtain its own license.

Licensing is such a grey area but something we need to address.

If all the sites were identical in every way then there won't be a problem. But, if one of them changed it could become an issue.
