I may have posted something about this a while back, but I'll submit it here again...
I'll start by saying the overflow scroll functionality is a wonderful enhancement to the Milonic menu. In earlier versions the top of the vertical submenus aligned with the parent menu item they were related too. I and my end-users liked this alignment.
In the more recent RC's of the menu, there seems to be a more dynamic positioning of vertical submenus. This dynamic positioning seems to kick in when the bottom of a vertical submenu would extend past the end of the screen AND when there is still screen space above the submenu item where the menu could be displayed, regardless of whether the vertical submenu has an overflow condition or not.
I'm sure that this type of dynamic positioning is perfectly fine with many users, however, I would prefer if my vertical submenus remained aligned with the parent menu item they were associated with. (That's the way it used to work.)
What I would recommend is that we be given a menu definition (configuration) option that allows the designer to choose how to align the vertical submenus, either aligned or not aligned (dynamic or not dynamic), something along those lines.
Is it feasable to have this type of functionality in the menu?
By changing the way the menu supports vertical menu alignment, it changes the functional dynamics of how end-users have become accustomed to using a web site. This can present challenges with trying to make upgrades to keep the site menu current. If I put the new menu_src on my website, my users will see a functional change they likely will not be happy with. This limits my ability to upgrade, which is not really a good thing.
Thanks for your consideration.

Enhancement suggestion...
Hi Brett,
It might be that it's late here and my brain isn't really in top gear but I'm having a little difficulty grasping the concept of your request.
What would really help is to some screen grabs or images demonstrating the idea, can you do this?
I'll have another look at this in the morning and see what we can do.
Cheers
Andy

Link with sample screens that display issue...
Hi Andy...
If you view http://www.zware.net/screens.htm it should help clarify the concern I have for vertical submenu alignment.
Thanks,
Brett
