Form in Menu problems

Form in Menu problems

I have bit of a problem using forms in menu's. I got my example from the filter demo and it appears that if the menu is not allways visible it disappears as soon as a user clicks on one of the controls in the form :( What can i do about this? Do other people have the same problem?
