Thanks very much Tim, yes after thinking about it I realised there would be many restrictions of using flash in the menu. It will enhance alot what can be achieved though.

But yes I finally figured out the quotes thing, and now I off to see what I can do with a bit o' Flash.

I had the same problem with this version of IE on the MAC. The browser I think is at fault and not the menu...I told my client to upgrade thier browser and the problem went away.... :D

I'm a PC person but I had a client with MAC IE5....I spent A LOT of time trying to get the menu to look the same way in this $%&·$%& browser as it did on mine. This version of the MAC IE is not a good one. I used a transparent GIF for the menu header and it produced a green box right across the ...

NEWS - FLASH!!!

If you can embed objects.....can you embed flash?????? I remember 1 guy said he had done this but with the new board his posts have gone. Has anyone tried or attempted Flash embedding?

don't really know what I'm talking about but...my menu array is huge and when the page loads it takes about 10 seconds to load (much longer in nestscape and mac ie5) this is ok for the first time you arrive at the page but when you hit "back" to return to it, it takes the same time to ...
