Mac ie5

Please note that official support for this menu version has now ceased. There are still plenty of users, though, and the forum is still running. Some of our long-time users may be able to help you out.

Can you have multiple lines of text on the top row of a horizontal nav, replacing my images.

Somewhat. IE/Mac is way behind the times, even 5.2.1 under OS X (yes, I am definitely a Mac person :!: ). M$ says they support us, but...

As for multiple lines, if I understand your question right, yes. It's not horizontal, but see http://www.west.asu.edu/cspc/steps/intro.htm for an example.

I'm a PC person but I had a client with MAC IE5....I spent A LOT of time trying to get the menu to look the same way in this $%&·$%& browser as it did on mine. This version of the MAC IE is not a good one. I used a transparent GIF for the menu header and it produced a green box right across the screen. I later discovered that MAC IE5 does not suport transparent GIF layers you must use PNG....also there were problems with placement. The menu always appeared further down the page than the PC version.

My advise - upgrade the browser :P and tell your client to do the same ;) . I think there is only so much the Milonic boys can do.

NO version of IE on the Mac has been a good one. Unfortunately they all lack something - some more than others.

Makes you wonder why Gate$ sold all that stock last week...
