bgimage in sub menu

Having problems with DHTML Menu? There is usually somebody here who knows the answer.

bgimage in sub menu

I wish to adapt the menu xp style.
I would like simply to modify the color of the vertical band of the sub-menu.
How can I do that ?

locate the image, magnify it as large as you can, select the color and change it in photoshop or whatever you have.
