Same problem even with Ultraedit editor

Having problems with DHTML Menu? There is usually somebody here who knows the answer.

Same problem even with Ultraedit editor

hi, couldn't normaly view the source code of js files other than the "menu-data" one , so i rushed in the the faq , and downloaded Ultraedit, and the script still drops on one line...What to do?

I don't really understand to what you're referring, what's dropping down, where and what kind of problem is that causing?


EDIT: I figured it out when I looked at faqs. Sorry, I don't know about ultraedit. I use wordpad to look at the files and just have it set on wordwrap. But I don't do any kind of editing.

Am I correct in saying you are trying to view milonic_src.js, mmenudom.js and mmenuns4.js?

If that's the case then those files are optimized to make them smaller, and quicker to download.

You don't normally need to view those files at all. Especially now that all of the relevant information (license info) is put in there for you when you download it.

I'm going to double-up on that and say there is absolutely no reason to decompress or in any way mess with the menu source code. Further, doing so would make your installation unsupportable.
