Site interactivity really dies in IE for Mac

Post by cubefree »

I read recently that the new versions have fixed some IE for Mac bugs... but this site has really failed for the Mac. Here's a link:

http://www.stillpointhealth.net/index.php Safari works great! IE for PC, Firefox, Netscape, all good.

There is alot of stuff going on so, I'm not sure where to dig into the list of problems,

-- for one you need to mouse over the images to get them to show
-- "Select a Practitioner" should drop a menu, but doesn't at all

So, not sure where to start. I'm using Version 5.18 - Built: Wednesday May 12 2004 - 11:06 because it seems to work better than 5.32

Thanks for any and all comments.

Hi CF -

I no longer have IE on my Macs as it's a dead product, so I'll be no help on this one. Sorry.

Just as a friendly reminder, officially only the most current menu release is supported. 5.18 is pretty far back, and Andy has made a lot of additions/fixes/improvements since then. Not sure if any of the Team has that version still available.

Too bad as there are still a few out there... I am not one. But my client's employees still are. And I don't think Safari is supported by all Mac OSs.

And not having one makes it harder to track down the code break-downs.

Hi,

It works fine in ie mac, but this is OSX, its possible its not working on the old system I suppose.

//try taking out the slashes, its very sensitive.

You managed to keep left alignment, I can't get screenposition to work at all.

Really nice site, I think its amazing you managed to get that to work in mac ie because I've been having problems. I'd like to find some nice images.
