Rollover Image Bugs

Please note that official support for this menu version has now ceased. There are still plenty of users, though, and the forum is still running. Some of our long-time users may be able to help you out.

...same with me, I just posted a bug report to them. I am also waiting for a "stable" version to start implementing this fabulous menu into my site.

Yeah, this bug is really annoying... Running the scripts locally, everything works ok, but I can't get the mouseover to function properly at all, no matter which settings I have in IE...

If there isn't a good way to fix this, it would actually be better to just remove the whole rollover-functionality from the menu scripts... Then you could input your own mouseovers in the img-tag. Unfortunately, something in todays scripts messes that up if you try... Onmouseover functions fine, but not onmouseout...

Has anyone come up with a fix?

Hi,

This is fixed in the version due out in the next few days.

I'm testing it all right now so it shouldnt be too long.

Cheers
Andy.

I fixed the this problem by preloading the images with a preload script.

I thought maybe preloading could solve this problem. But I tried it without success... How did you build your preloader, Mathias?

Andy, is the new version with the fix released? What's version number will it have?

Does anyone know if this bug has been corrected? I've downloaded the latest version, but still can't get it to work... :\

I installed it on our test site and it was in fact fixed. HOWEVER, there are now issues with IE5 on the Mac. The menus are misplaced and the rollovers don't work at all. That's a pisser.
