eval copy -- no menus

Post by hejira »

I have just downloaded and set up the evaluation copy of the popup fixed menus... installation was easy, but I get no menus as the install.txt file insidcates I should. I know the drawMenus() function is firing (I inserted an alert as a test) but still I get no menus; or maybe I am missing the means of activating them.

Thank you,
Lew

Yes that would have helped. Here's an example:

Thanks,

Lew, take another look at the _data file that came in the download. You're missing alwaysvisible=1; for whatever you want to be your main menu (looks like the main menu has been removed), and the top= and left= statements are not needed in all the other menus.

Take the _data file exactly as it comes in the download and then go from there.

That was indeed the problem. Thank you. BTW, I checked the original download file and it did not contain the alwaysvisible parameter; I added it, however, and all looks good. One more test and I should be ready to buy.
