URGENT!! FOR YOU EXPERTS-MENU TRASHES OUT IN NS 4.72!! HELP!

Post by Guest »

:!: Please see:

http://www.fayettecountychamber.com/stage/prototype2

I am trying out the top menu bar to see if it's going to work for our site. I finally got it working perfectly in IE 6.0.

But, we're in a whole other world with this stupid NS :(

I checked the nav bar out in Netscape 4.72 and it just fell apart! It's all scrunched up into about how the horizontal size it's supposed to be!

I hope one of you can duplicate what I am seeing. If not, let me know and I'll send you screenshot of what I'm seeing (this is just maddening :x ...not the menu....NETSCAPE)!!! ARGGHHH!!!

I am going to be in BIG trouble if I don't get this fixed soon. So, I'm looking for help from you experts out there!

Anxiously awaiting your replies!

Thanks!

I just realized that I also need some help in making the menu STICK in place.

I tried looking at my site at different screen resolutions (in IE) and the menu is all over the place!!

Looking for your help and thanks.

I'm sorry but after viewing your page I do not see the issue you are stating. I have looked at it with several versions of IE and NS and the only issue I see is your word wraping. Your main menu items are wraping at spaces and I don't think that's what you want. Use a non-breaking space ( ) between words and they will be treated as a single word and not wrap. Also, you may want to upgrade to the current version of the menu, you are running 3.3.19 and we are on 3.4.7
Cheers!
