Licensing Question

Post by mikip »

Hi,

After getting our menu to work just as we want it :D , we now want to purchase a license. Our application is both and intranet and internet based and hence the question, if its essentially the same source and website, do we need 2 license for the intranet and internet domains?

Thanks in advance for your answer

Cheers

Is the domain the same for both? For instance, my internet is http://www.west.asu.edu, and my intranet is westcgi.west.asu.edu. Same domain - one license.

As long as the sub domain is not part of another company or another product you can get away with a single Pro license.

As always, it's always best to ask us just in case. Licensing is a bit of a minefield at times.

Just to be sure

Andy,

So just to be sure - Its the same product and the same company, just one address is exposed to the web, one address is exposed to the intranet. Am I right that we just need 1 Pro license?

Thanks

Yes, 1 Pro will be fine as long it's not for a multi million dollar company with offices in loads of countries.

If that were the case it would be a Corporate license.
