The submenu doesn't look good in firefox. The submenu ("Produkte") disappears behind the java applet.

You are using frames. No menu will let you open across frames. Think of it like this, you open the browser and then you go to a frame page, well that frames page is not really one page, though it looks like it, the browser treats each 'frame' as a separate page' and a separate browser, as if the one browser had opened a top browser and page, a side browser and page, etc. So, it's like asking the menu to be on one page but to open on another one.
There is a frames module you can set up to use the menu in a frameset. You can find the demo and get the files here
If you need help with this, don't hesitate to post here. You can can use a treemenu, also as an option, because they open downward shifting each item down when a submenu is opened. That way your menu navigation is in one frame.

Thanks for your input. I use only two frames: one at the top and one at the bottom. The prolem occurs also, when I open the page at the top without frames. The frames aren't the problem.
Have a look at the page without frames.
The marquee-text (java applet) in the middle runs over the submenu. (There isn't the problem in IE)

No, I changed nothing. But I downloaded V. 1.0.4 Firefox and it does not work! See the problem on my printscreen:
