Highlight menu item and/or path

Post by sa}{en »

Hi. I'm close to getting crazy now. I've been reading in this forum all day to find solutions for the highlighting of selected item and/or path in the meny. I've tried all hints but with no result. :(

I've tried
Update my menu version
mmpagehighlighter.js
breadcrumbs
style properties

I know a link to the problem website is prefferred, but I'm working on a new version on localhost, so that's not possible. Though the old version of the website is http://www.elefun.net and the menu is verry much the same.

One though that came to me is that there is maybe a problem doing this while placing the main menu in a table?

As you might understand I'm quite lost at the moment. I've been reading a lot in the milonic forum and information to find a solution, but not found any. Please provide me with links if you thinkit might help me.

If you think you can help me, but need more code/information about my solution to help. Please ask, and offcourse I will find the information.

Thanks in advance for all hints and help.

If you play style properties, you'd better have unique URLs in your data file.

If you can't put up a test page, you'll need to post the menu_data.js file with an explanation of what you want to highlight when. We can then try to make a page and see what's going on.

I did some more testing. It seems like the buildt in soloution works fine. But not with anchors and querystrings. Most of my links is followed by a querystring. Is there a workaround for that?

If URLs are unique, pagecolor will do.
