First MILONIC menu item will not disappear.

Post by Berend »

We are a non-profit organisation
And put an visible text links at the bottom of the page
http://milonic.com/ "DHTML Menu by Milonic"
Once this link has been added the forced MILONIC menu item will disappear.
Nothing has disappeared on http://www.rtvstadskanaal.nl
Can someone tell me what I did wrong :?:
greetings

Could I ask what fixed it? Maybe someone else will have the same problem?

OK, sorry

I replaced

<div class=milonic><a href="http://milonic.com/">DHTML Menu By Milonic.com</a></div>

in

<a class=milonic href="http://milonic.com/">DHTML JavaScript Popup Menu By Milonic.com</a>

Hello all ...
I don't know if anyone is watching this thread anymore, but ....

I too am having the Milonic link show up.
I have done a lot of searching and reading of the forum, and most entries/answers suggest or point to the page that talks about having the link back to Milonic on the page.
I believe I am doing what is required.
I have a personal web page for photos ...
http://bobserack.com/
Using ... Version 5.728 - Built: Thursday July 7 2005 - 14:34
FoxFire 1.0.4

My code at the bottom of the HTML is ...
<div align="center"><font size="1" color="#000000" face="Verdana, Tahoma, Arial">Menu Systems: <a href="http://milonic.com/">DHTML Menu by Milonic</a></font></div>

Please, take it easy on the critique for my HTML or Menu code, unless the error or problem is wth my code.
I am learning CSS and will be rewriting soon.
I'd appreciate any help I can get.
This is a great menu system!
A little learning curve, but infinitely configurable!
Nuffsaid ...

Hi,

It tells me the version is 5.722, and I'm seeing HOME as the first item.

If it changes when you upload the newer version, try making the text as DHTML Menu by Milonic.com and see if that does it.

Thanks Ruth ...
I had 5.728 on my computer, but not uploaded.
I did now ...

Anyway ...
Adding '.com' to Milonic took care of the problem.

I was following th lead of the comment on
http://milonic.com/removelink.php
that states ...
So all you have to do to remove the MILONIC item is include a link pointing to http://milonic.com/ somewhere on your web pages that are using the menu. Please note, the link needs to point to the precise location of http://milonic.com/ and the text is to read "DHTML Menu by Milonic"
No indication of Milonic.com.
Oh well, it works now.
Thanks ...
Nuffsaid ...

Hi,

I have notified Andy. The sticky in the forum about free use of the menu has the new text but it seems that page didn't get updated.
