Style for menu items pointing to current page?

I love this menu! Now that I've gotten that off my chest, my question: Is there any way to have menu item(s) that point to the currently-active page (i.e., the one I'm looking at) show a different font- and background color? I thought perhaps the "Current Page Item Font Color" and "Current Page Item Background Color" would do this but I can not see any changes when these colors are changed.

Yes, that is what those values are for. But it won't work if you are using frames because the framed page never changes.

the topmenu item does not change, u have to go to the submenu of your page...that one will change
