Sub menu postioning issue

Hi all,

I am setting up a new site and working on the look. The sub menus on the site working great, except they are about 200 pixels below the menu that creates them.

I have the menu in a div, to ensure it is positioned on the page in the correct place. This may be the issue, but I am not sure if I can pull of the same effect with an absolute postioning.

Never mind, I resolved this.

I removed the div and used top and left and it works.

Questions, though...

Should this be absolute or like I have it?

Should what be absolute, and how do you have whatever it is? The menu is absolutely position, top=;left=; makes it absolute as to position.

Sorry for being vague, it is not on purpose, its because I am not familar enough with the coding.

What I meant is I see some menus set to 'absolute' and others to 'relative.'

I set mine to neither one, but by your explanation, I set to absolute by default with my top and left commands.

I was just checking to see if I was leaving myself open to issues I was not aware of by asking.

As far as
