Tooltips not working

I've read many messages here about problems with Tooltips and none of them seem to work for me.

But - before I try further - I went to http://milonic.com/menusample6.php which supposedly is a sample of how to use Tooltips.

I can't get that to work for me either - I've tried in Opera, IE and Firefox.

So, it might be something at my end. (But the tooltip on the 'Login' button on the left of the page works fine)

But (again), if I look in the code for that sample, I can't see any reference to tooltips there.

So, can someone tell me if that menu sample works for them and shows tooltips? If not, does someone have a sample which does work?

Can you be more specific about what the nature of your problem with tooltips? Can you give an example URL or post some code from your webpage?

I can't give a URL as the menus are used in an application, not a site.

The problem is just that tooltips aren't showing.

But, they're not showing on the sample on the milonic.com website either - do you get tooltips on that sample yourself. If you do, then it must be something in my browser that's broken, but if not, then the sample must be broken and I'll look further in my code.

(the code for the menu shown on the sample page doesn't have tooltips in it AFAICS, so I wonder if the sample is broken...)
