Offsetting in Firefox on short pages

Post by peggys »

I want to purchse the menu for a new site I am creating, but have downloaded the trial version to test it out.

I inserted the menu on two pages within my site:
http://dev.tsysacquiring.com/transactio ... /auth.shtm
http://dev.tsysacquiring.com/transactio ... ivity.shtm

It appears to align properly on both pages in IE, but in FF 1.5.0.4, on the page that does not have a scroll bar, it is offsetting to the left:
http://dev.tsysacquiring.com/transactio ... ivity.shtm

According to the notes and forum issues, you do not recommend relatively positioning it inside a div or table cell, so how can I fix this issue? Please help!

Actually that's not entirely correct. I can't look at your code until later, but have you read this (especially all the way down towards the bottom)?

Hi John,

I did read that page, but when I read the part that said, "However, embedding a menu into a table cell...will not work across all web browsers." I stopped reading because that had been my main concern all along.

Now re-reading it (or reading it further), I see that the biggest issue is IE for Mac and since that is an outdated browser, I am not concerned about it at this time.

I followed the directions and everything works across IE, FF and NS, so THANK YOU! I will be purchasing this wonderful navigation and ending my headaches.

Regards,
Peggy
