What exactly do you want with regard to the menu? You have it set as top=10;left=10; Where do you want the menu. Tell me which div you want it in so I can play around and see what's going on.

first, I removed the top=10 and left=10, and the menu is now centered vertically on the page. not quite what I was looking for.
My end goal is to replace the menu currently on http://www.electrovoice.com with the milonic menu, because it appears to function much better (users can click anywhere on a menu item to go to that menu item, instead of having to click on the actual text of the link, etc etc.)
So the page I linked previously ( http://www.electrovoice.com/menutest.php ) is my test page for getting the menu up and functioning properly (sub-menus appearing beneath the menus above them and stuff like that). Once I get the positioning figured out, I will style it up to look like the one on the home page.
The one that is on the home page right now gets written to a div with the ID of "evmenu".
I like the list based menu, because it will be visible to search engines.

I'm sorry, I can't figure out what the problem is. The only solution I can think to use I can't figure out how to do and get the same look, mostly because I don't do much with css and such so I have no idea how to get that bright.jpg as a background to the table.
I would think that if you can do something like that, then your problem would be solved because you can set the table width and set it to center.
You'd need a spacer table at the top of to show the background of the page width 100%, probably 10px high, and then a two cell table to put in the logo and the menu and set that table to width 765. That moves that out of the nested divs. I'm sure it is from this that the submenu offset problem is coming.

Well, I found a solution. It seems the problem has to do with the menu being in the nested divs and the different positions and margins, relative, absolute etc.
